Drew Everett

Chairman of the Board, Bush Brothers & Company

Drew is a fourth-generation member of the Bush family - he received degrees in Finance and Production & Operations Management from Virginia Tech.

In 1993, Drew began his career with the family business in the Information Services Department before transitioning to the Supply Chain and Operations team.

He joined the Company's Board of Directors in 2007 and was promoted to Director of Human Resources in 2008. In 2013 he added Director of Shareholder Relations and was promoted to Vice President. He led organizational and employee development of a highly involved, results oriented culture; a philosophy that guides the family's activities to ensure successful transition to 4th and 5th generation ownership. Drew was elected Chairman of the Board in 2015. He is a founding member of the Bush Family Senate, and Shoebox Private Trust Company Board where he also chairs the Investment Committee.


Meghann Harker

Family Member, Cargill Inc.

MEGHANN HARKER is a fifth-generation family member, spouse and mother of four. She manages the family governance for her generation of shareholders and began an educational program for the next generation of family members for her branch and the entire family. Meghann enjoys spending time outdoors exploring with her family and is always expanding her knowledge of family governance and life balance.




Chris Herschend

Vice Chairman, Herschend Enterprises
Managing Director, Elmwood Management

Chris Herschend is Vice Chairman of Herschend Enterprises, the largest family-owned entertainment company in the US. Herschend hosts over 14 million guests annually at its attractions and events which include properties such as Silver Dollar City, Dollywood, Adventure Aquarium, The Harlem Globetrotters, Halo: Outpost Discovery, and Pink Jeep Tours.

Chris has been elected by the shareholders to serve on the majority-independent Herschend board of directors since 1997 and has served on the board's audit, compensation, and governance committees. Earlier in his career, Chris worked for Coca-Cola, Cox Communications, and an Atlanta venture capital firm. He earned both his BA (1995) and MBA (2003) from Emory University. In 2012, Chris personally led the buyout of a national sightseeing company which he later sold to Ripley Entertainment and other investors.

In addition to his responsibilities at Herschend Enterprises, Chris and fourth generation cousin Austin Herschend lead Elmwood Management, an investment company serving 22 family households in six states. Chris also serves on the boards of Ungerboeck Software International, E Ritter & Company, and Whitefield Academy in Atlanta.

Chris & his wife Ashley have four teenagers and live in Atlanta with their dog, surrounded by great neighbors. His other personal and professional affiliations include the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions (IAAPA), Young Presidents Organization (YPO), and Passion City Church. Mostly he likes to get up early and drink coffee.


John Nelson

Co-Founder SEED Beauty

John Nelson has over 20 years of startup, rapid scaling, brand development, general management and financial planning experience within the beauty industry. In 2014, he co-founded SEED Beauty which has incubated and rapidly scaled five brands; ColourPop Cosmetics, Fourth Ray Beauty, Sol Body, Kylie Cosmetics, KKW Beauty with other brands in the incubation stage. SEED Beauty was built on the vertical integration of SPATZ Laboratories, a family business where John served as CEO for 12 years.

In 2014, John along with his business partner and sister, Laura Nelson, disrupted his family business from the inside out by transforming the business from being one of the largest outside suppliers to the global beauty brands to a vertically integrated platform focused on launching and building its own brands. John received his MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management in 2002.
